shhhhhhh............ your not allowed to mention his suspect touch, especially when he scores a hat-trick!!

I remember someone mentioning that they thought his first touch was suspect after his first 2 games and he got absolutely slammed.

Jeff, I'd be really interested (genuinely, not having a pop) to hear your range of emotions while watching this match. I think we can all understand your situation, but I doubt I'll experience anything like it myself as it seems very unlikely that City will ever play FC Tucson in a competitive fixture.

Absolutely chuffed for Lloyd. He's probably my favourite player now, there is so much to like about the bloke. Whenever he has been out of the side previously he's turned down moves, vowed to get his head down and every time he's come back with something. This is a small reward for that.

Good result.
Totally agree. If it was up to me, I'd make Lloydy mayor.

I'm not sure that last night's game could be termed 'competitive'.

Are we allowed to mention the two sitters that he missed?

On a side point, can people remember the last time that a City player scored a hat-trick in 5-2 win? Those who do will probably think, like I do, that it was the end of happier times.

Going a bit further back, there was another famous 5-2 where the number three was also of significance.

On his home debut after his actual debut resulted in a stalemate at Vicarage Road.
