Very interesting and informative article explaining that everybody at the club is ambitious and yet still a realist

At least we got a footballing question this time. Also it now confirms that we can attract players to this club, check out the LCFC website to find out why players like Gareth McCauly want to come to our club.

I already know why players like Gareth McCauley want to play for our club and it's nothing to do with that nonsense about trusting RK and liking the whole set up. He is admirably moving up the career ladder

Why can't we attract players from the premier league?, why can't we attract the best players from this league? are questions they should be answering, not why we have the ability to attract lower league players.

Does the £10 membership to the trust qualify you to accept 2nd rate answers. I would pay £10 to join, no £100 to join if we could have face to face interviews with AT, and have some sort of come back to his responses instead of having to accept the answer he gives us on a piece of paper

I went to the FT AGM at the Walkers last season as an FT member. Both Tim Davies and Rob Kelly took part in a Q & A and neither 'ducked' any of the questions asked from the floor. I am sure if you 'ask' FT nicely they will invite the new Chairman along next time, but obviously the next AGM is seven months away!

yeah, he always loved city... like Shevchenko moved to Chelsea cos he admired the ethos of the club

as Mrs Merton says, "Debbie McGee, what first attracted to you to millionaire Paul Daniels?"

:)

I know that privelidge is always there. I'm talking about a fully dedicated meeting, lets say 2 hours for arguments sake with a group of "sensible" fans where any answers are debatable until either party is satisfied with the answer, or lack of, without being hurded swiftly onto the next question

still nothing new for me :102: get moving even hinckley are staging concerts:icon_roll

Problem is, who would decide which fans could attend, and how could you weed out the " non-sensible " fans? I know RK's doing a Q&A sometime, but if memory serves correct, the cost is £16 per head. Personally, I think joining the FT and attending their AGM might be the better option.

I haven't got the answer to that unfortunatley, I'm talking about ideals. The current method of getting answers is second best, because has you pointed out, 1st best isn't that practical or possible

In the situation we are currently we are talking about 2nd rate interviews and 2nd rate answers. 2nd best might as well be not bothered with

As this is all a bit hypothetical, the only info I can go on is that posted by Mike TBT. I would have thought it likely RK and, if asked nicely, the new chairman would be at the next FT AGM. I may be accused of being wet behind the ears, but from what I've heard from both of them, I think they would give a straight answer to a straight question. It may not be the answer you want, but that's another matter.....ooh, me head hurts, must get to the pub, I hate trying to be serious for a change, right does me brain in it does........

Get your cheque book out & come to our AGM in February next year, Andrew Taylor is already booked for that, and as in previous years questions from the membership are not pre-vetted.

Previous years have seen Tim Davies, Rob Kelly, Craig Levein, Dave Bassett all attend & answer anything asked

None of them ducked answers, they may not give the answers you wish to hear though

I may not attend that, however I may think about the membership thingy. I do critise the trust but I also see it's intentions are honourable.

I will look into joining

Replacing Joey G will be tough but I heard (and probably said) the same thing about replacing Muzzy.

I don't understand what he's saying here, we still haven't 'replaced' Muzzy (if that is possible).

It's counter-intuitive to believe that we can/will succeed with the same players and less income but I think we can still have ambitions of greatness next season.

Oh yay, can't wait for the season to begin now.
