I don't understand what he's saying here, we still haven't 'replaced' Muzzy (if that is possible).

Oh yay, can't wait for the season to begin now.

I read it as saying much the same as several people have said on here - that largely the same squad could do much better than last year.

Cast your mind back to a situation not wholly dissimilar - when we escaped relegation to div 3 with virtually the last kick of the season. Brian Little made relatively few immediate changes to the squad, yet the next season they were within a gnat's fart of promotion. And the "star" player, Gary Mac, almost as much of a talisman as Muzzy, had gone.

The parallel is not exact, but we saw in the second half of the season the difference that a new attitude and motivation can make to a squad. It is not at all unreasonable to have those aspirations - the alternative, to sit there and say "Oh dear, Joey's gone, we've got no money, Ronaldinho won't come and play here for £50 a week. We're all doomed", is not on.

This is football. It often denies logic, and attitude & self belief counts for a hell of a lot. Some of the younger players had to grow up very fast last year, and if their progress continues under a manager who seems to have the key to getting them to play, then we can be reasonably optimistic. Success, even limited success, can then breed success - and money.

With regards Joey, I liked the player immensely, but I have now forgot about him. He no longer plays for Leicester, he scored a good goal, and put in some good challenges, but he wasn't a legend and never will be, although is goal will.

Joey has gone and shall be forgotten, move on

Top post, OG many fans seem to have already forgotten the fantastic upturn in results and performances in the last 15 or so games. Lets be positive but with some realism.

If we can get a decent start then there is no reason for us not to build on that and go onto to have a very good season, however it is still a very difficult division to get out of, with a lot of good teams.

OG gets it right again! Football can defy logic at times, and as OG says, we have a fair number of young players with a difficult season under their belt. I am optomistic for next season, just like the last 35 odd seasons!

Are we so certain that R.K's magic can be replicated this season with the same players............. because even with the turn about, it was certain there were area's that needed shoring up with new blood.

I know that privelidge is always there. I'm talking about a fully dedicated meeting, lets say 2 hours for arguments sake with a group of "sensible" fans where any answers are debatable until either party is satisfied with the answer, or lack of, without being hurded swiftly onto the next question

What about the fans forum, they meet up every couple of months don't they?

Are the members of the forum doing a good job?

Not of informing me about it they're not. So I can't answer that I don't know anything about them. Who are they?, Where do they meet?, Who do they meet?, Why should I know about them? etc etc

can never be certain but then they'd have looked a bit stupid if they hadnt appointed him, he has a harder task than previous managers (regarding less money) but his squad has some good quality and hopefully it will show next season

There has been a lot of stuff about the fans forum on the official site and in the programme.

The minutes of their meetings are published on the official site - the latest at http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/CommunityDetail/0,,10274~831947,00.html

Why ? - Presumably as a fans forum, they represent fans in discussions with the club.

Presumably or definitely?

I really don't know who the fans forum are, I was hoping to be informed, that's all. If they wish to be a voice, then maybe fans should know about them. Still got none of my questions answered so am I to believe then that nobody knows who they are?
