Short memories you lot

Prior to Levein going we had taken about three points from ten feckin' straight league games, and were playing the most godawful shite dire football we had seen (up until that point, I hasten to add)

The moment the useless feckwit walked out the door we started to improve. Please don't hark back to the "Good Old Craig Levien Days" and pretend that the cnut was even the remotest bit capable of doing the job, because he wasn't

Not saying that Homer, what I am saying is that Levein was achieving the same results but with a lot less resources available and with nowhere near the same quality of squad. My comments were more of a dig at the managers this season who seem uncapable of building any sort of consistency despite the opportunity of working with an expensively assembled squad.

All of them as we aren't in the bottom 3!!!

Levein picked up some half decent players for peanuts, but that rest was shocking.

He will be back, not at LCFc but he will be a success in English management

Its just another person he hates PFKA,you are wasting your time.Craig Levein is the Devil Reincarnated didn't you know ? Be managing in Europe next season though

I'd agree with you on that. But at the time we were starting to cut adrift at the bottom, so I don't think there was much choice.

I'm not sure any manager could turn us around at the moment.

Alongside the genius of Gordon Strachan and Old man Smith

Or maybe it will be Mark Magoo instead

All feckin' champions of the English leagues, them lot

I still have a copy of the Mockerys back page hanging up on my office notice board. The headline is along the lines of 'Levein. No wins in 10, he had to go'.

If we are serious about moving forward as a club and ensuring that the potential that this club has is utilised to the maximum then IMO Milan has to get out there and appoint Billy Davies, the guy is available and his record at this level is superb, and I would imagine he would readily take on the challenge of taking this club forward, until we have a Manager of true and genuine quality we will continue to tread water or possibly even sink without trace.

Davies wouldn't last 5 minutes with Milan, he fell out with various people running the club at Derby, the ego clash would be too great

Milan also had his differences with Harry at Portsmouth, but it didnt stop Pompey from having their most successful time in generations.

Its been a really hard last 4 years.... and when you are in your 70's it becomes distinctly harder to motivate yourself to get out of a comfy chair out into the cold to watch a spineless bunch of individuals conjure up such inept displays in the name of Football
Its my 64th year of support and at this moment in time my last.

we are shit...but the problem for me is footballs changed fast and will do even more....and not for the better either...and it hurts :100::thumbs_do

Wow - respect to you Sir. Puts it all in a bit of perspective.

Loyalty to the club from me will always be there. It just comes in a different way nowadays. I could never support another professional club like I support my beloved Leicester.
However, because we have had a few years of consistently underachieving, any slight glimmer of hope is grabbed at.
When MM came in with his desire to take Leicester to the promised land, the rose tinted glasses were reached for once more. Dreams of visits to the Emirates etc were once again vivid.
Alas, reality is bloody different. Another manager and a crop of stars are brought in and shipped out. Ignoring the Megson fiasco, IH is brought in. He brings in some better quality players.
They start performing like all the rest from the last 4 or 5 years. Why??
Be fecked if I know....
Personally, I can see IH staying until the end of the season, making City safe in this division. then he will leave on mutual consent.
Who will come in then, Alan B'stard might be worth a shout. Nicey, nicey obviously don't work.:102:

Big Sam might kick a few of the lazy arses

I would expect this from Joe Fox or Fludie but not you! :018:

Sam Allardyce would NEVER come here and it is ridiculous to even think so.

The sad thing is some people are starting to sound like Forest and Leeds fans and by suggesting we are still a 'big' club. WE AREN'T!
