No. Leverkusen had to get a Spanish team, because if they'd been drawn against us it would have meant there would be an all Spanish tie, which isn't allowed.

Exactly. Leverkusen had to play a Spanish team, otherwise one of them would have had to play Sevilla, which isn't permitted at this stage.

Here's hoping (or straws clutching): Four Spanish sides still in it and surely not all four will get through to the last eight. Real and Atletico Madrid have easy enough ties against below par Napoli and Leverkusen, whilst Barcelona will be too strong for PSG, so that only leaves Sevilla to be dumped out by the mighty foxes.
