Yes I get that but as a unit - Savage, Guppy, Lennon and Izzet compared to Kante, Albrighton, Mahrez and Drinkwater.
It doesn't, though.

Don't get me wrong, I loved that midfield, with Lenny and Izzet, but let's be honest, that midfield last year was far superior, even if the three remaining elements haven't played as well this year.

Two in three games.

The first game of 1999/2000, in the last minute at Highbury to give Arsenal a 2-1 win, then a week later another last minute goal, for Chelsea in a 2-2 draw. There was a 1-0 win against Cov between those two games.
Thanks.

My memory is clearly not what it was. Two consecutive games maybe?

Sinclair scored an own goal to our advantage whilst playing for Chelsea - and also a own goal to Chelsea's advantage whilst playing for us.

John Sjoberg once scored two goals and two own goals in the same game.

Any idea when home allocation will be announced? St in the family stand and would like to have a pop at tickets...

You're still joking, right? Fifty years' time old men will reel off that starting XI from their youth as if it were yesterday
You're missing what I'm saying but I can't be arsed to go into detail if you can't see it already.

I understood it.
So did I but I still think he's wrong. Time dulls the memory in many ways and specifics are often forgotten, but the achievements (and names) of our 2016/17 midfield will be forever etched in the minds of those who witnessed what happened and any negative feelings will have been swept away long before senility creeps in.

All I can say is that Matty James was great.

He asked how, not if.

They will be remembered as part of our greatest achievement, but as individuals their reputations may vary.

Tickets sorted: were on our way, were on our way

Agreed. Will the greatness of Albrigton be remembered with the same fondness as Mahrez and Drinkwater? I doubt it.

Kante, I'm sure is immortalised.
