Dawson is ready! I honestly believe that! He is as ready as Stearman is anyway, and from what I have seen looks better than Joey.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what midfield we play, we will bypass them completely as we always do because the only tactic we have is pointless longball to the uncoordinated DeVries!

I agree, he looks a good player. He has been strugling with injuries of late though. I would like to O'Grady introduced as well but no one agrees with me on that.

We've had this 'new faces,changes to be made blah blah blah' thing before on the OS.Nothing drastic ever happens,just one or two changes.You won't see Dawson starting no chance,just Hughes in maybe Dublin up front MDV on the bench,Kenton starting.Dublin might play up front but he was hardly outstanding there earlier in the season.I can't see CL dropping MDV just because he might be booed when the team is read out etc and I wouldn't want him to be dropped for that reason,the last thing we need is the 'fans' picking the team.MDV should be dropped because he is not playing well ,lacking in confidence etc.However with MDV not in the team then the 'fans' will no doubt find some other poor bastard to persecute and jeer.

Problem is, if you don't start MDV because he will be booed, then you he is a useless substitute as you can't bring him on in case he is booed.

I think he might be Sub but CL's judgement shouldn't be swayed by a fear of a player being booed and I don't think it will be.I see nothing to be gained by booing a player when he is out there in A LCFC shirt,slate him afterwards when you are in the pub,on the bus etc by all means.

I agree, and would personally opt for utter silence over booing our own players...even if a lot of them aren't fit to wear the blue!

You might be right homer but if you start leaving players out because the 'fans' are booing them then where is it going to end,Stewart won't get a game for a start(not that he does).CL leaves him out tonight then he's virtually saying that he is never going to play again unless we are 6 up.Whether he's shit or not is not the point but dropping MDV isn't going to suddenly make us score a panful of goals.We haven't got a 'Goalscorer' at the Club,I mean Dublin scored for fun at the start of the season didn't he.
