Chelsea Rivalry???

Has the baby squad disintegrated or something? I haven't heard anything about them for ages...

They were all in a pub on the Leicester Ring Road Tuesday night.

But the story behind 'And Leicester' is nothing to do with rivalry, if the story behind it I heard is correct. Apparently it started when a group of fans were on the way to an away match, singing the names of the places they were travelling to. One of the signs they saw was for "The North and Leicester", so they started added "And Leicester" to the song.
I've also heard Arsenal and Spurs singing the same thing.

good knowledge their jeff, i was just about to mention the same thing. it is due to signposts saying North, South and leicester. quite not very clever seeing as a lot of signs will say things like M1 north + leeds etc

the reason leicester don't like chelsea is the same as any other team, people just don't like chelsea. why they dislike us is because they don't like anyone, simple

When we beat Charlton in the FA Cup a few season's ago, I remember hearing a lot of Leicester had gone to 'find' Chelski for an off. Not sure if they did or not, but thought it mad that the rivalry, albeit by a minority, was still held.

I think a lot of fans come to London and go looking for Chelsea more in that they have had a firm for a long time, and it's reputation is/was one to be reckoned with. Interesting that not many come to London to find Millwall's firm. I guess the location isn't as nice really, oh and that they're actually fecking nutters.
