'Boff' has definitely withstood the tests of time and is still popular today.

Back in Primary, we named some lad ''Boff''. He took in the right jest however.

I always like that face people pulled when someone said something spag-ish. They would put their tongue behind their lower lip and then slap the chin. Not name calling I know, but it was still used to pick on people just like names were.

One of my favourite names that hasn't been mentioned yet that was used to insult people was I think cleg-nut. Which is the hair that grows on your arse, or so we were told back in the day anyway!
