Well, David, I personally start with glaring at said child. If that doesn't work, I then ask child to desist. Failing that, I would then ask the parent or guardian to stop the child from kicking my seat. The second stage is usually the most successful.

I don't know why you think this needs a legal eagle on the case. The behaviour of fans, old and young, can lead to a poor matchday experience, but the Club is under no real obligation to deal with them unless they are breaking the law or ground regulations.

Having said that, we have relocated several times over the years because of other people, and the Club has always been obliging and willing to assist where possible. Just visit the Ticket Office, and they will be able to help find which seats are available.

Are you sure it's not you? :icon_lol:

Actually, it is me; I have a low tolerance level when it comes to idiots!

We are in new seats this year, and we didn't even make it to half time before moving to join some mates who had spare seats next to them. Aside from the inane comments coming from the bloke behind, I had his knees in my back. I'm not adopting poor posture because he can't be arsed to sit up straight himself.

Hopefully it was the people behind where you used to sit (stand) in L1 and not the person across the steps to you. If it was I can only apologise for my behaviour.

This is not just about children is it, i have taken my son since he was 7 and he has never been a nuisance despite being bored on a few occasions in the early days. I am proud to say that he has become quite an astute observer of the action in the last couple of seasons.
Yesterday i had a third of my seat that i have paid for taken up by someone elses fat arse, obviously this cannot be helped and he seemed a decent chap but the previous week against RM a bloke somewhere behind me spent most of the pre match and during the match stood up, on his mobile trying to attract the attention of his mate in another stand.

:O

Have we met?

It was the idiots behind us, and in particular their mate, who seemed to have a ticket for anywhere but the row behind us. Oh, and the slut who thinks it's amusing to spend the entire game trying to get the attention of the away fans, and have them singing that she's got chlamydia at her.

Oh I'm not a stalker by the way! :icon_sad: I didn't know it was you until I friended you on FB.

Their mate now sits in the seat where you were. He is the biggest prick in the stadium. All game moaning and shouting stupid comments.

Wonder if it was a fellow TBer? Quite a few, well, a couple in particular would fit that bill :icon_wink

That's ok, it's just someone on Twitter tweeted that I shouldn't have been wearing my shades during the game. I feel famous, almost ;)

The reason I am always interested in lawyers is that they have to come up with real solutions to complex issues. For this reason I value their opinion on non-legal issues over those of other specialists.
Academics usually aim to understand a problem whereas lawyers aim to solve it. Philosophers are worst - they would be happy to spend a meeting trying to define the word "problem".

The club may be under no legal obligation to provide a good matchday experience but to actually say that would be a tremendous public relations blunder. Surely once the matter is brought to their attention they have a legal responsibility to try and prevent one of their customers being kicked on their premises.

"Aside from the inane comments coming from the bloke behind"

Sounds like Copey to me ;)

The straw which broke this poster's camel's back.

Oh, and I'm sure I'd like BuxomFox if her delightful name is anything to go by, but if anybody ever laid a hand on one of my children I'd make sure that they understood my feelings on the matter in the most forthright manner possible.

:icon_bigg It's not him, but he may be the one who punches the fat twat at some point this season.

Would
the "idiots behind Lee and their mate" ,
the "slut trying to get attention from away fans"",
the "I'm not a stalker but",
the "biggest prick in the stadium"
the mate of "the biggest prick in the stadium"
the "fat twat"
and the fellow who is "going to punch the fat twat"please avoid West Stand 1st Tier B2 as they would find it dreadfully dull.

The only aggressive troublemaker we have near us is Mike Stowell.

You would really value my opinion over someone else's? Really? :icon_eek: Someone tell Biffa Bacon, quick!

In all seriousness, you're making a simple matter more complex than it needs to be.
