:icon_bigg It's not him, but he may be the one who punches the fat twat at some point this season.

I came close on many an occasion. If only to stop the constant spray of spittle that accompanied every rant of his, which were every couple of minutes. All this in a season where we made the play-offs. I was glad that we weren't near him during the relegation season.

There's a couple what behind us, the pair of them must be no older than 5.

One of them was kicking my seat for the first twenty minute this weekend and then they ended up scrapping which often occurs when it stays goalless.
Calmed down second half though

Best thing about it is that this is The Kop. It's free for Under 8's in the Family Stand and a lot more sparse. It's just can't understand the reason of shelling out money for no sake (the tickets are never exchanged for someone else).

Wasn't the best this week though....our local loudmouth said at half-time 'lacking firepower, need to get that young kid on who scored in the week'.

They probably want the "atmosphere". However, the first time that you use a naughty word, they will castigate you. You will then probably point out that there's a family stand, at which point the parents will declare that they can go where they want, when they want, and you are violating their human rights.

I've already been there. At least your lot aren't sitting behind a lawyer.

I did this with Gradel Junior. Because the atmosphere is infinitely preferable and I always told him off for kicking or rocking if instantly.

I've never complained about language no matter how bad.

Never had this trouble in Pen 3 did we, just the odd wet leg at a full house.

It is KOP only in name. Creche or play center would be more apt in describing it's function.

Many years ago when the new stadium first opened we moved from the Kop with our young grandchildren simply because of the constant abuse directed at everyone on the pitch. Young children will obviously just copy and we did not want them to think that that level of abuse is acceptable. I do not understand why parents would want their children in that sort of atmosphere. It is not just 'banter', when the ref misses something.

Random outbursts of verbal abuse are perfectly acceptable at football. If you dont agree then either dont take kids or go to the family
enclosure. Why people seem to think we live in a sanitised world with no nasty swear words and their offspring should never be subjected is beyond me. Its real life not the Rovers Return.

Of course random outbursts are acceptable. Where we were though it was constant abusive f**ing and blinding for 90 minutes, to our own team as well, every time a pass was missed or the ball went into touch etc.

That's fine, I've happily taken the niece to games, and sat in the Kop (having said that, it once sat in the Family Stand, and told me afterwards "never again"; it was only 5 at the time!).

It's the parents who take their brats to the games, and then object to anything and everything that annoy me. Lazzer summed it up perfectly.

A different perspective on children at matches - on Filbert Way yesterday Bernie was pointing at people as they passed by and shouting "F_____ you" and other obscenities. This included a young mother with a little girl. There is a tendency for people to laugh at Bernie but I do not think the young mother found him funny and I think the little girl found him frightening.

I have found that taking my lad to football and plonking him in L1 was a brilliant opportunity to demonstrate to him what will happen to you in later life if you don't do your homework & develop a love of smart-casual apparel.

Not only does he not mimic the foul language he has witnessed but he also shows an aversion to gesticulating in a hard manner at people the other side of a line of coppers, sluts and acting like a ****.

He really shouldn't be allowed to roam as a free man if that's his current level of behaviour. The bloke is quite clearly a retard and should be in care for his safety and that of others, I'm surprised he wasn't twatted by someone.
