you said that MON alienated the board that was subsequently replaced by yes men that continued to say yes to twatlor money wise hence we went down the pedigree bitter

I did - but I did not say that MON caused the club to go into administration; that was your interpretation.

I can assure you that I am perfectly calm and not losing the plot. If you read what I wrote and not other peoples' interpretations, you will see that I am making a comment on the situation much as a historian might do at some time in the future.

I was already sitting down and taking it easy, but have taken your advice on the mince pie - twice, yum yum!! :111:

so basically you can say what you like and if someone doesnt agree you can hide behind the fact that you didnt infer it and that it was interpreted incorrectly.i dont mind debate on here but IMO you disagree with too many posters too many times and dont do it to be objective but instead do it as some form of oneupmanship you may be a very nice chap in reality but on here you come accross as very condescending

what time is it ? what time is it ? ................its pedant time
i cant be arsed to play your games

I'm sorry if you think I am playing games but I am not.

You chose to say that I was saying/inferrring that MON caused the club to go into administration. I did not. I am hiding behind nothing.

Please examine what I did say and tell me with which part of it you disagree . Let me split it into stages to make it simple for you.

1. MON had a peculiar way of working? YES or NO
2. This alienated him from Pierpoint and others YES or NO
3. This alienation led to the downfall of Pierpoint and others YES or NO
4. They were replaced by people who did not run the club so tightly YES or NO
5. They did not maintain control of the finances under Peter Taylor YES or NO
6. This led towards administration and the possibility of us not being a football club any longer. YES or NO

If you want me to tell you who or what caused us to go into administration, please ask me - but be warned it is a very long list.

I am surprised that you question my objectivity. I try to look at events in a non-emotional way when I comment on them and it is certainly what I am doing in this instance. If this brings me into conflict with others of a different view, well that's the way it is.

I'm also sorry if you feel I am condescending and practising oneupmanship - I contribute in the only way I know how. As for whether I am a very nice chap or not, why not offer to buy me a drink and find out?

i know i shouldnt but ......thank you for breaking it down thus making it easy for me (not condescending at all)

in your 6 point plan starting at no1 if mon got on with the board would we have had no's 23456 ?

Presumably you don't disagree with any of the numbered points then?

Clearly if MON had got on with Pierpoint and the others of G4 he would not have been alienated from them. The rest becomes irrelevant.

The real pity is that there was nobody in a position or willing to stop the rot of the progression though 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 to 6.

Many Leicester fans will have since asked themselves about their own level of objectivity at the time that they held up those PIERPOINT OUT bannerlettes. Would they have been so keen if they had known that MON's reign was in its final year?

(Futile attempt to lift the mood)

so the fact that he didnt brought about 23456 YES/NO ?

If 1 had not been true, 2 could not have happened because of 1

If 2 had not been true, 3 could not have happened because of 2

and so on, down to 6.

I say again, the real pity is that there was nobody willing and able to stop the progression. I believe that the Club would have been stronger if MON and Pierpoint had been able to settle their differences and to have come to some kind of healthy working relationship. This would have left us in a far stronger position when the time came for MON to leave.
