I have only been to two away matches since Leicester last got promoted to the Premier League. This was because a season ticket holder friend couldn't go and I used his season ticket.

So I guess this policy is to stop that?

I've been to more away games and sat in the home end than sitting in the away end due to not being able to buy away tickets

Hundreds are allocated for box holders and club giveaways before a single ticket is sold and it's unlikely they will change that.
And they deffo won't be asking those people to prove their identity will they.

I was told at the game last night by someone ‘in the know’ that the reason for the spot checks is that we have recently gone top of the number of arrests at games table, replacing Everton!

Seems like a load of bollocks seeing as the footy copper releases the amount of arrests in each game and it's rarely more than 1

Fans have got more about them than the team then

They won't have to worry about this soon
