I think we've been made to look very average tonight. Having said that, Newcastle's first team is obviously too good for this league. They've still got international talent in there. Not a happy hunting ground for us at the end of the day..

Not a great performance IMO, started fairly well but faded into obscurity. Can't really complain too much I guess but I was hoping we'd ask questions of them and we didn't really...

Not to be too ashamed about, although they had no front line which I am disappointed we didn't make work better to our advantage.

Haven't had the ball in the box ONCE in the 2nd half,no way that's good enough.Away games are developing a pattern...good first half performances then falling away in the second.The worrying part is that so far we haven't converted that into a half time lead in any game.We have to make our periods of superiority count.This was a seriously under strength Newcastle side but we didnt really trouble them after they scored.We had no ideas & execution was poor.Not only did we not manage a POOR ball into the box,we didnt manage ANY balls into the box at all against a seriously understrength defense.Puts things into perspective I think.We're not at the same level as newcastle,boro,west brom,cardiff etc yet.It'll come but it'll take time.
