Finally settles the eternal arguments about why the stadium doesn't host concerts. But I bet in a while someone will post a "wht can't we ....." !

Fantastic interview wih probing questions and in depth answers. A great read

if the stadium cant host concerts, why did they attempt to organise one with Quo etc... ?

i think its numbers cate for the disasterous cancelled concert they intended pitch stand and lower tier as capacity . Obviously anyone of any repute would need to fill it.Im gutted to think that a club like stoke city can host a bon jovi concert and we cant even get an x factor reject. If it cost £200,000 to do and you held a series of concerts surely it wouldnt be too long before that turned to profit.:102:

I think AT agrees with you but they are saying the £200k is better spent elsewhere currently. I can see the dilemma.

To think, all the money we blew on shite players during the time Filbert Way was being planned/built and we scrimped on the quality of our home for the next X years :018:

But there's only one tier:confused:

Its just bollux again...... Before the fecking place was built talk was of having concerts and the like there to bring in more revenue. This was one of the main reasons the ground was not built on the other proposed site where Mawby and King used to be, the noise generated by football crowds and pop concerts. You dont build a stadium of our size with the intention of using it for other entertainment and then finding out you cannot, it does not make sense.

No I think there is another reason which is not being told.

Its got to be true MF............ I am sure this board thinks we will believe all the bull shit they throw at us. I have to see a logical explaination for any argument or debate and here I cannot see one.

At live concerts you will never get CD quality, all the viewing public want to see is the band / performer play live.
I think this bloke should feck off back to Macdonalds

Last year the guy who was on the Leicester board and is now on the kovskum board (charles raynor I think) said at a meeting that the stadium wasn't up to regs for holding concerts.

I raised this on here and I'm pretty sure the Trust (or someone connected with the club) said that wasn't the case and there should be nothing, structure wise, stopping gigs going ahead. If someone could dig out the thread and check that would be smashing.
