Cate Fox said:I just find it a little strange that they say its not up to spec, then they try and organise a concert (with a woeful line up - sorry Lazz) and then because its a flop they go back to the line about it being not up to standard.... very very odd :icon_roll
Cate Fox said:was referring to the Quo - thought you liked them...:icon_lol:
Real Sharapova said:Status Quo were never going to sell enough tickets to make it a goer, whoever sanctioned it deserves shooting ( can't remember his name, but I think he left the club ). BTW, Cate & Co are right, Kasabian would sell over 10,000 tickets easily.
IMO that is the main problem. I said it in the original thread. Access to and from our ground is diabolical. As DD pointed out, it wouldn't stop us getting gigs, but why would we get them when cov are 30 seconds of the M6 and 20 minutes awaydrummindefender said:i think the club also has problems though in the stadium location-its not got easy access to it for parking etc and isn't that near the train station-however i think if we wanted we could of easily pipped cov or derby to get the chili peppers this summer
its time like this when i think we should of moved to an out of city location to be honestMelton Fox said:IMO that is the main problem. I said it in the original thread. That's who I was thinking of.Durham Fox said:I think that was a legacy of Mr Paul Mace.
The only problem I would bring up, is that it might have affected our attendances - I like grounds that are not in the middle of nowhere.drummindefender said:its time like this when i think we should of moved to an out of city location to be honest
