But Hazz, don't you understand? We've not thrashed anyone in two whole games now and it's a DISGRACE!!! :icon_roll
Speak for yourself, Des. I've heard that alex and highland have had a very interesting afternoon together.

Would the ref have to write up a report for the game or was it not a serious enough match?

Nice report Cank, not much to add.

After the game Leicester players stayed on the pitch, and were ordered to have training session. Hard to tell if it was some kind of "punishment", or is this common practice in England. I remember when we played Liverpool in UEFA Cup, Liverpool's coach ordered their players to run around the circle after the end of the game, I then perceived it as a punishment as that game ended 1-1.

I myself expected more from Leicester, as they didn't really show much. The only player which caught the eye of an experienced scout as myself was a black right winger with blond Mohawk haircut (is it Gradel?), who showed some pace, willingness to take the defenders one-on-one and some above average technical skills compared to other Leicester players.

As a fact this game come after we ended physical preaseason training in Austria and our team showed lack of energy and looked quite tired, if we would have been fresh more could be achieved. On the other hand I don't know at what stage of preseason preparation Leicester team is currently and if they played with their best players.

relegation here we come we cant even stop a bunch of slovenian farmers scoring againest us, my god this is probably the worst side since last season and Pearson tactics were simply not up to scrach for a league 1 manager, bring back holloway i say before it is too late for us and we are playig accrington stanley in league 2, what the **** is pearson thinking playing chambers at left back and adams on the right, wheres Mattock he should put club before country!

I am seriously concerned about this season and if we dont sort this defense out soon i fear for the worst.

I also think Barry Hayles could be a very useful backup stiker next season.

Talking of Bazza, where is he? I don't think he has gone out to Slovenia and didn't feature in the Hinckley game.

Hopefully he's ****ed off somewhere and the OS just forgot to tell anyone. Don't think he'll even cut it in League 1 personally.

As one of our central defenders along with the right back were obviously considering getting a tan instead of keeping their eyes on the ball, a ground ball was launched into our box, ending in a one on one race to the ball between one of your strikers and our goalie (who, at the age of 42, did quite well. His main ambition is to enter the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest goalie in a top division club, currently held by Lazio's Ballotta, I think). The striker was faster by about half a step and managed to nudge the ball into the empty net.

Fryatt beats someone for pace!!

I find it slightly bemusing why we haven't got another Left Back in.

We currently have Mattock and Chambers, who should be two of the best left backs in the division. I know Chambers is right footed, but he's still a good left back.

If Mattock leaves I'm sure we'll get a replacement, but we already have the biggest squad in the division so I wouldn't expect many more arrivals without players leaving first. There's still plenty of time for that to happen.

Isn't one of the kids a left back - Garner or Cox or someone? Not that they'd be ready yet, but I doubt there's literally just one left back at the club at the moment.

For some reason our team adopted the traditional English style of play - long balls towards Rudonja, who, surprisingly, managed to outrun the defensemen on several occasions, one of them resulting in a nice goal. A quick counterattack, the ball came to Pavlin, who sent it into space, Rudonja got to it first at the top of the box, tapped it to the keeper's left, while he ran around him and just gently placed it into the net.

This doesn't bode well that a slow Slovien can outpace our defence regularly

Out of interest why are Sloveniens slower than our defenders? Tunchev is Bulgarian so is he slow too, I can only assume that the further east you go the slower you get?

Rowe-Turner is a left-back and pants.

Where does it say that Rudonja is slow?

He's managed to achieve a feat none of our players have ever done. Appear in a major international championships.

It's the Eastern European diet!

The same diet which has breed a team of Euro 2008 semi-finalists?!?
