My head says that we are likely to lose this. My concern is that a mood of panic will set in with people going on about four in a row. I believe that we are a well managed club with average and in some cases above average Championship players. The last season we were in the championship we had four managers and used more players than any other championshop club. This year we have stability and a strong manager. It is important that the fans back him.

We'll win it, and have a bit of a revival, before having another dip in form.

Although in the post match thread it will still be all doom and gloom, with the "oh typical same as always we do well in 1 game against a big club, but we'll do shit against the rest again"... and slating of the few people who get carried away with the result and think we're going to win every game for the reason of the season.

Newcastle are no worldbeaters but i guess after recent results a draw would be acceptable, however we usually bounce back to form especially at home im going for a Solano inspired 2-1 win Fryatt + Howard, latter a late headed goal from a Nobby cross

Yay!! I understood one of your posts!!!!
Even if it is a load of made up stuff, I actually understood it, for a change

Leicester 0-1 Preston 18 Nov 06
Derby 1-0 Leicester 25 Nov 06
Norwich 3-1 Leicester 28 Nov 06
Leicester 1-4 Sheff Wed 2 Dec 06

EDIT: Preceded by a draw with Plymouth, and followed by a win at Wolves.

The season before the relegation.

I remember that, what a horribly shit time under Rob Kelly.

We are far from those days now.

That game at Derby cost me a shitload. I got a text from my mate about half one saying he'd arrived at Leicester station without his card and hence couldn't buy a train ticket. Of course, I'd already bought his ticket to the game, which I had on me. Needless to say, I never saw that 27 quid again.

That Derby game was a real lowlight, my first away game and it was gut renchingly crap. Can't believe it was over 3 years ago.

Well, Hume and Fryatt started that game...

Edit: As did Steve Howard.

I seem to remember Elvis coming on and getting clattered as he put the ball into an empty net. The whistle went and we thought it was a penalty. It turned out to be their freekick. Very annoying.

I shall sit there freezing my nads off, at a stupid kick off time, ruining my sacred Saturday evening, watching us get shat on and listening to the cock-ends booing at half time and full time (if I stay that long)

So why am I going ? 'Cos I'm a complete feckin' idiot, that's why

3-0 to the Geordie bum-boys

I don't want to go. I REALLY don't.

But I know I will.

I can't work this out.

I've realised this is, with the exception of Charlton away in the FA Cup, the most high-profile game I've been to since we were in the Premiership. I think it has to be accounted for that the players are sometimes capable of 'raising their game', but it will probably be defeat, maybe 2-0 or 3-0.
