Greatly encouraged by reading this article. Basically saying, "It is not a priority just to play good football or nice football. The priority is to win, whether at Leicester, Southampton, or Arsenal – all. It is about how can we have good results.”

Yes I agree. That sounds very promising and it is something that I have thought for some time. The counter attacking style is become a bit of a struggle on the eye. I would love us to develop a squad that can dominate possession and control / dictate a game.
I would however also say that Puel may have to wait for this approach, as I don't think we currently have players that are good enough in possession.

Peter Taylor came in and thought he could make athletes out of the likes of Gerry Taggart and Matt Elliot. You have to know your squad and it’s limitations. I just hope Puel will identify this quickly and cut the cloth accordingly.

Does anyone else’s owners join the team photo?

Can’t imagine Roman Abramovich or Sheikh Mansour doing a similar thing.

Bit weird.

Gainsbourg was an ugly ****er, and an obnoxious piss artist too. I can only but assume he had a massive schlong and knew how to use it.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Ranieri was offered the possibility take over after Shakey

Timing would have been all wrong for him though. Presumably most of the factors that led to his demise would still be present (unless the bigger factor was Shakey!) and therefore by no means certain it would not have ended just as badly. and he’s doing well at his current club.

would welcome him back though. Maybe next time round, I’m sure it won’t be long.
