An equally interesting article, thanks Volp. For those who like stats. A really interesting view of our potential.

expected goals tells us they are performing better than their overall results suggest.
Praps the tables should be an aggregation of the various Opta stats.
I forget which pundit I was listening to at the weekend (it might have been Lee Dixon) but he was dismissive of possession stats. He remarked that what mattered was what a team did with the ball, not how long they had it. Whilst it was a simplistic argument that suited his agenda, one does have some sympathy with the general view.
Silly me, I thought I was supporting a football club, not the Oxford University debating society. Is it too soon to say that he's the most boring man I've ever heard interviewed?
I've tried to make allowances but his answer to any question is long, rambling and tedious. I'd much rather he answer in French and have it translated to be honest because he surely cannot be this dreary.
Gawd knows what the players make of him.
It also highlights the lack of a 'voice' at the club even more to me. You never hear a peep from the owners, Chief Exec, Head of Recruitment or Director of Football. It's almost like they deliberately don't want to communicate with us.

That there Holloway was a right laugh, though.
I don't give a toss about the press conferences.
Just listened to another press conference and learnt nothing whatsoever. The same words as the last one, slightly rearranged. He could be describing last nights dinner for all I know.
Is it the journalists fault for not asking him sensible questions or should they just do the interview via an interpreter?
May I deduce that you are not 100% convinced that he did well for Leicester City?Carrot crunching ****ing jester he was. The ****ing bell end.
Didn't hear this charge levelled at Claudio so often and he spoke a lot of gobbeldygook (sometimes literally)Just listened to another press conference and learnt nothing whatsoever. The same words as the last one, slightly rearranged. He could be describing last nights dinner for all I know.

I'm interested in his thoughts which is why I don't watch press conferences. I don't think it's intended to be a communicative device. As a new manager of the club entrusted with our survival and development, I happen to be interested in him, his methods and his thoughts. I appear to be in a minority of one.
