"I just want to play," revealed 27-year-old Clarke, who hasn't featured in a competitive game for Sunderland in over eight months"

Then I hope he's on a month's trial!

club policy on all new signings should be a rolling day to day contract, working a week in hand. we are a joke.

Nice idea, if every other club did it. Otherwise the likes of me and you would have to take our boots down to the Walkers every Saturday.

Why are we a joke? Because we only signed him for 3 months?
we are a joke because we start signing players and give crocks like carl cort a two year contract and a goalie who wont even start this season 2 years and then offer potential goalscorers one months trial and then bring in unknowns like clarke on a see if your good enough loans.

weve had mackay buying players milan buying players allen buying players and the team plays acordingly .

if we get anymore keepers:mad:

thomas sorensens available:icon_lol:

stick all 5 of them in against palace...... should keep the score down to a couple of goals against :icon_bigg

Still not seeing how that makes us a joke? There is no guaranteeing JFH would have been fit or scored, yet you are guaranteeing Cole won't play or score, the new GK will be crap, the LB will be crap, Nielson is a waste of money (admittedly so far seems that way, but not guaranteed).

Also I think you will find at most clubs with a sugar daddy the chairman will have a certain say in the players bought, especially if the chairman has contacts.

And the director of football will sign players in all cases.

jfh has been training at chelsea hes chomping at the bit.
nielsen we agree on:icon_wink.if you think jfh has a big arse check out nielsens.
would you pay money for cort, who is injured when he signs, and suffers from brittle bone disease.
mm and ma working together on signings is ok,but it seems like theyve all been shopping on different days.
i dont agree on paying a wage for a director of football, its like giving someone a peerage for being in the game for so long.
