I thought the first one, Vardy was moving slightly away from the goal.

The second one definitely not a red under the new rules. The ref can no longer give a red and a penalty

To clarify - he could for violent conduct or a second booking - but not for the denying of a goal-scoring opportunity
 
Biggest home loss for Brugge in the CL is 1-2 vs Juventus back in 2005.

Oh I agree, I'm not suggesting they weren't correct decisions just that it demonstrated that Vardy has had them all over the place and could well have forced sendings off.
 
København have equalised so we are top of the group on our own atm
