absolute pish! if we were too sack Holloway it would be a terrible decision. Half of his (old) team, minus the players who were worth something, looked a hell of lot more like a team than we did on Sat. Yes we may have had the better of it in the final 10, but they played and looked like a team....something we have been dreaming of for about 8 years.....

He managed that in 18 months, with **** all money to spend so lets give him a bit of time before jumping on the sack the manager bandwagon....FFS!

And if Mad Mandy does get rid before the end of the season i am retiring from supporting LCFC. I will always follow them, but i really cant be arsed with all this BS!

you obviously mean if MM were to sack Ollie. We just pay at the gates for that privilege.

Get yourself a beer and enjoy the game......................

Come MM do the right thing and get Sam Allardyce in. Ian Holloway couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag, so we need the best Manager available and that has to be big Sam.

MM, if you want to go down in history as the man that took City down to the lower leagues then stick with Holloway. If you want effectiveness then hire someone effective. If you don't, you are just pouring money down the drain. :icon_conf

Spot on steve, spent the money getting a good manager and he will do the rest, get a manager on the cheap and he will waste money, on bad players, lose monrey on low gates, etc,

MM needs to pay whatever it takes to get the right man in.

In February 2001, midway through the 2000-01 season, Holloway was appointed manager of QPR, where he was given the seemingly impossible task of keeping the now-struggling team in Division One. He failed to do so, as QPR finished second from bottom and were relegated to the third level for the first time in 34 years

In November 2007, a third of the way through the 2007/08 season Holloway was appointed manager of Leicester City where he was given the seemingly impossible task of getting the club relegated ....

I know, we were 20 points clear at the top when he came in :icon_roll oh no we were a few places above the drop zone :icon_roll:icon_roll

Picking up points?
Are you serious?

Before IH came in we'd got 6 points from our previous 6 matches. Now we've got 7 points from our last 6 matches.

Can you only remember as far back as the last two or three games?

After Saturday that'll be 7 from 7. Unless some miracle happens and Holloway learns some new tactics. That'll work out about the same average.

But Megson left of his own accord to go to the Premier League. Maybe he was just too good for us....?

Trifull - I don't think getting Megson back is an option, so why don't you just drop it?

I for one hope Ollie does not go....

Warnock has turned things around at Palace, and Roeder at Norwich. Two managers that were not welcome here by many.

It's a fact that after a reasonable number of games Warnock and Roeder have had considerable impact on their teams results. IH has nowhere near matched this - which has got to be a telling contrast. I am not advocating dismissal, we have to stick with the guy, but I really do think that relegation is a very real possibility. Perhaps only a couple of really good loan signings will save LCFC - and luckily with MM LCFC have the financial clout to take on the wages of very good players. Let's hope they'll want to come here, which let's fact it, is not certain if other decent clubs are chasing them as well.

didn't that bloke who everyone bows down to, MON, win the play offs because of a fluke off a shin?

We need some consistency, just look what almost happend when Sheffiled Utd beat us under Martin O'Neill . We almost sacked him (or he almost walked out), and look what happend!

And we have been watching nothing but crap since he left. The odd decent game here or there, but, generally life as a city fan has been miserable since about 2000. The odd decent season under Rob Kelly was a light refreshment.

We will be a laughing stock if we sack Holloway, he's a decent manager, give him time. And I for one, are sick of this crap.:018:

I would have all the patience in the world with Holloway and would even give him a couple of seasons if need be, but only if I could see a sign, a glimour, or any hint of a positive whatsoever.

It's like when making a bonfire, if you see the spark, the glow or any hint of heat then you know the fire might eventually burn. But if it's just blackness and devoid of any life at all, you know you gotta start again otherwise you'll be waiting all bloody night. And eventually the rain will come and what you've been trying to build will be ruined and destroyed because you stood by and took no action.

I'm scared the rain is coming.

Yep, that about sums up my feelings as well.
