Wife#1 might have bought that, but I don't think it'll hold any sway on here.
Well, not with most of the posters....

I have a number of problems with Boc's scenario.
Apparently LCFC wanted NP out.
Fair enough, but hold on a minute, he wasn't sacked, he walked out. Why didn't he hold on to be sacked, or for constructive dismissal, and then get a nice little payout
Faie enough, but then again the James Harper episode doesn't make any sense at all if NP was being pushed out. It certainly came as a complete surprise to those involved in the negotiations, and this was only about a week before NP jumped ship. And that information is also from an entirely credible source. Ah well, you pays your money and takes your choice. It's not my scenario.
No. The people buying the club wanted NP out.
Ever heard of 'compromise agreements'? It's usual that a term of the agreement is that neither party can talk about its contents or even tell of its existence. Such an agreement might include the "nice little payout" that you mention.
If you look back, you will find posts of mine where I poured scorn on the idea that NP was pushed out. The information that I received recently is entirely at odds with what I said then and from a wholly credible source.

A tale from someone the other side of the world about the recollections of an octogenarian?
There's 'credible and there's 'more proof please' :icon_lol:

You may be making the mistake of believing that sexagenarians have but one ear.
As does poison.Because good things come in small packages.
As does poison.
So we're all in agreement then?
Doing lines of coke off Kylie Minogue's naked belly is a good thing, especially if she's wearing Poison by Christian Dior
At this juncture, I'll throw Dennis W*se into the mix.And Kylie Minogue.
