Because someone made it up.... we will not sign him.

Hence it being a rumour, and a very unlikely one at best. Just nowhere near the type of player we need. Can't believe rumours are still going round that we are after him.

Decent player, to be fair, but I don't think our new high tempo approach would suit his showboating.

We might be on Soccer AM more, they love him!

I am convinced there is no truth in this Connolly rumour. If there is a positive to come out of him missing so many pre-season games it is that, assuming he is injury free for Saturday, Mr Warnock will not know whether to prepare to defend against 2 tall forwards or de Vries and Connolly.I have a sneaky feeling, despite his lack of pitch time in pre-season, that Connolly will start against the Blades.

would have thought deal would have been cut by now

By this time tomorrow Connolly could be a Sunderland player. ;)

Connolly will remain at Leicester for the same reason that he didn't go to Sunderland last year...We're better!:icon_lol: :icon_cool

....no bollocks being the key word :icon_lol:
exactly....Should Connolly stay, expect some mind games form CL this week as regards his starting line-up up front. If we are not sure whos going to start then you can bet Mr Warnock is too.....

Its just occured to me that maybe the reason that CL is not playing Connelly, is not because he is injured but because there has been such a major transformation in connellys ability that he want to keep connely underwraps until saterday, when we shock everyone and beat warnock & co 6 : 0

Step I believe that you last moment of inspiration may have been a little closer the mark.;) :081: :icon_lol:

connelly is our main man up front and CL is no fool, if he is even slightley concered about his fitness i dont think he would risk him against oxford, CL has on numerous occasions commented on his beleif in connolly and his fitness level and intentions to play him, he will be in the starting 11 on saturday paired with Dublin, and i personally think that is a duo who can score goals, atleast short term, heres hoping we get a new face in this week

What about the Goal Machine???

According to www.clubcall.com Connolly is now being linked with a move to Cardiff, whilst we are being linked with Hartlepool's Adam Boyd although the fee looks likely to be a problem.
