According to www.clubcall.com Connolly is now being linked with a move to Cardiff, whilst we are being linked with Hartlepool's Adam Boyd although the fee looks likely to be a problem.

boyd is good and has brilliant positioning and finishing ability, u dont need to be quick to score goals, if u can read the game that is just as valuable as pace, i dont remeber shearer, sheringham, le tissier, ferdinand, dublin, fowler being as renowed for pace as finishing ability, and they are some of the select few who have scored over a hundred premiership goals

100% agree with fawkeye, and i take it you like ac/dc gud shit if so, to be honest we have always cried out for a good young prodigy up front or just somebody good up front and it never happens, i hope im wrong but i cant see anyone comin in this close to kick off

You've got to love the AC/DC! I liked the rumour of selling Connolly and buying Derek Riordan, definately a young prodigy but I doubt he would ever come to us anyway. I think Connolly deserves a chance this season he was our top scorer last season when he got little service from the midfield. I think with the additions we've got he could score more this season!
