For portions, yes. We’re hardly going to be the better team for 90 minutes.

Similarly we’ve played parts of the match well during some of our defeats.
We've been rubbish for most of the game, every game this season.
Playing well for 5 minutes doesn't make up for 85 minutes of rubbish.

There’s been probably one match we’ve only played well for 5 minutes, and that was today.

For me he should be gone. Our points have been mostly narrowly won against teams that we should be fighting against and winning.

We beat Soton 5-0 and 4-1 last year and they have not significantly strengthened.

Cooper is not showing any of the traits we need for survival at all. In survival seasons teams scrap every game and get unexpected points. We won’t get that with 0 shots on target (excluding penalties) and the quality of the opposition there is not relevant.

No shots on target from open play is simply unacceptable.

No, the others we’ve have 35.

But there’s 90 minutes in a football match, and 90-35 is bigger than 35.

We’re done with this clown staying.
I think that’s fair. Fairer than 5 minutes in any case.

I wouldn’t expect newly promoted teams to be the better team for more than a third of most matches, but that’s my expectations and if others have higher, fair enough.

Why would someone with recent Prem success come here? If they’ve had recent Prem success I’m sure they’ll be able to do better than come to us.
Moyes.
Potter.

I guess “recent success” is subjective. Well “recent” and “success” are subjective.

I recall you waxing lyrical about our first half performance against Forest.

Make your mind up.

Ah here it is

“We were great in the first half.”

Funny.

It's all comparative. I guess when your used to eating shit, a Big Mac is gourmet.

But if one half is all you've got from that lot.... Well, we're in a lot of trouble.

I don't know how you can complain: today's debacle was all down to awful refereeing. At least, that's what Steve Cooper said on the Beeb... He must have been at a different match to the one I watched on TV.

Was it the penalty that definitely wasn't a penalty or the red card that we probably should have had he was complaining about.

He's gone from 'it's on me' to 'it's everyone else but me'. You were right the first time Stevie boy.

He’s got to come up with something - he’s so far out of his depth it’s quite incredible to watch it all unfold

A clueless coward of a manager.

It doesn’t really matter who comes in now - literally anyone would be better than this hopeless ****tard

Sadly the complete duffers in charge of the club won’t pull the trigger in time for anyone to retrieve this sorry season

He’s a top top manager and we’re lucky to have him
