I thought Cooper had recent premier league success?
He did. But we’re not exactly in the same place now as we were when he came in. Whoever comes in will have to pick up a team clearly low in confidence, and with some long term injuries.

We’ll be searching the scrapheap.

We are incredibly lucky to have him.
“We’re definitely not going to get relegated” (22/23 season)

See, we can all play these dumb games.

I got it spectacularly wrong.

I don't understand what that has to do with your continued defence of Cooper though.

Odd.

If our owners had acted in a timely fashion back then, we'd have more than likely stayed up. It's one of the reasons I want the to act now. Get it yet?

Frank Spencer
Dawn French
The skeleton of Joseph Merrick
Daniel Lambert's chair
Alan Pardew
A pair of plastic tits
Steve McClaren
A packet of Mr Porky
Lady Diana's corpse
A box of Dairy Milk
A pint of Baileys
Dusty Bin
Elon Musk

All of these would be better options than Steve ****ing Cooper.
At least Elon Musk would put a rocket up their arses

We are arguably in a better place, given the points deduction situation.
We’re in a much better place. I don’t think there’s any way Cooper would have been hired if we don’t have the points deduction hanging over us.

But if we leave it too late and we’re adrift from safety then we’ll be as equally unappealing.

If you could be bothered to read my posts you’ll see that I criticise and praise when I feel each are deserved, unlike yourself and others who have a continued criticism even when we win.

I understand where we are as a club, without the delusions of grandeur that many appear to have.

I’m inclined to agree. I’m not as much concerned with the points return or our league position at this point. The way we are playing is what is really keeping me awake at night and the fact that our performances seem to be getting worse.

Again, the result today wasn’t unexpected but the abject set up by SC is now beginning to lose the dressing room. To be fair Chelsea could have crushed us but chose to sit on their lead as they knew we were abject.

I loathe gutless performances such as that and if Wilf had have been sent off (last season there is no doubt that in the prem that was a deserved red card challenge) then they could pretty much have scored at will.

And we are back to the safety net of 'entitlement' and 'delusion' blah, blah, wibble bore.

Many, myself included have absolutely praised him on the 3 or 4 occasions he has deserved it. You just ignore this and focus on any part of a post that dares to say anything about him that hurts your feelings. If you didn't think there was anything to criticise in our performances against Southampton, Walsall or Bournemouth then it's probably best you look up the word delusion so you don't make the same ironic mistakes again.

We play with inevitability…but not in a good way. It is utterly pointless.
You can feel it in the players I think. I’m obviously not there but on screen the body language is poor.

One of the more recent matches I did get to was Newcastle at home around Xmas the relegation year….it all looks like that to me.

Especially today. Vardy was furious when he came off and the squabbling between players was everywhere. Hermansen looked completely defeated and I wouldn't blame him one bit if he was on the phone to his agent right now, to get himself out of it.

Our setup today was as incompetent as it was incomprehensible.

My current thought is pretty simple:

With this squad, injuries and fan base it’s going to take a couple of things to survive:

1. An organisation that makes us hard to play against and defensively sound

2. A leader to rally around that can create a siege mentality

Cooper may have some merits but I’ve not seen evidence of the above from him.

We've been rubbish every game this season, even the ones we won.
For portions, yes. We’re hardly going to be the better team for 90 minutes.

Similarly we’ve played well during some portions of our defeats.

Mads will be a Chelsea player by February
