Day one of working from home. Can’t say that it’s all that great especially as I left an adapter at work so I can’t plug my second screen in ... grrrr

I did exactly the same thing, when we started working from home 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, my office is only a 5 minute walk away, so i went straight back to collect it, as it would have done my head in to just use one screen.

Heard that Spurs have Furlouged all non-playing staff but not asked the players to take a pay cut?

Surely ****ing not (bar Mike Ashley of course).

There’s a cap on what the government will pay. The cap is around or above the level of most admin and retail staff, for example, but unsurprisingly is nowhere near what Premier League footballers are paid.

I completely understand the parameters of the scheme. I am merely pointing out it is immoral to Furlough someone on ~ £30-£50k PA but not ask ‘others’ on a minimum of that PW to take a hit to preserve the wages of everyone else.

Watch all the premier League clubs that are using government funding to pay the lowest paid employees but not asking the players to cut their wages go out and spend £50+ million on players in the next transfer window.
As much as they try and bleat how "we are in this together" & "we are a family club" clearly not.

It's not exactly a flat curve is it?

I think that it would be better described as battering the bell, or unbillowing the bulge, as the shape will eventually be more bell, or billow, shaped. Thoughts?
