Don't know about football specials, but the 48(I think) Stagecoach bus from Nuneaton bus station goes near the ground, and that runs all day.

For record, the number 4 bus 'Tesco Arena' visits the Ricoh, this runs through Cov, using the bus and train station as stops.

Be weary of the M69 Speed restrictions as well, 50 mph between the two juncitions.
