Isn't a Narrowboat, barge, pedalo or whatever its called just the waterways equivalent of a caravan ? I suppose going around asking the other boat owners if they want their barnacles scraping off the bottom of their boats is the same as a road going pikey asking if you want your drive tarmacked.
