I think you need to put your reading specs on and read the OS again.

Just said 'More to follow......' on my browser yesterday :102: Would say it just needed refreshing but I first saw the story at whenever I posted yesterday. No matter. I hope these two TV games aren't just an excuse for Sky to get us out of the way early on.

trying to get to the concrete arena along the m6 on a friday night, just as everyone is leaving work? you're having a giraffe. it's gonna be chaos, i can't be arsed with that. fckin sky, i guess we have to pander to them if we want the tv cash....

I would be quite happy for Sky to **** off and forget that we even exist. Then perhaps we could watch our football at the proper time!

Good point Boc.

We'll be going to Cov in the day, miss all of the rush hour traffic.

I would like all the games to be televised and kick off at 11pm. That way, I can watch them at the "proper" times! :icon_wink

If you're travelling from Leicester you don't need to use the M6, and even if you do use it it's only three miles from J2 to J3, and that section is not usually too bad.
It'll be far easier to get to than the vast majority of our away games next season, so I suggest you go, and stop looking for excuses not to support the team.

I was thinking that when I saw that.

Bollocks do we get £5 million.

We probably wouldn't even get £500,000.

Nor did I understand the last part of the setence - "and we set".

I think it was a suggestion, rather than a statement of fact :icon_roll

The amount we get from TV games is a pittance in this league, probably doesn't even cover the drop in attendance.

Luckily, for away games, the drop in attendance is of no concern to us.

No, but the Sky money goes to the home team, so we get no benefit from having away games televised.

Which, if correct, is the way that it should be - the club that takes the loss also gets the fee. (But I did think that away teams did get some of the TV money)
