Great scenario and I would love it to happen. Not holding my breath though. :icon_conf

Quite a possibility in my opinion.

There is a saying about taking on a new job "always follow failure, never success".

Without speaking ill of the (managerially} deceased, there has been a huge under-achievement factor at our dear old club and what it needs is someone to arrive and put some stick about, and I'm confident that we can have a prompt return to the Championship...and then take it from there. An in-coming manager could then cash in the kudos of getting us promoted or take a view that there is still potential for further progress.

I could see a Billy Davies or Darren Ferguson or Paul Ince buying into that scenario.

I reckon we need a man with strong family values, an amusing regional accent and an affinity with those less advantaged members of the community....

David Pleat , nothing wrong with his legs, his car wouldn't go past walking speed, and continually kept bumping into kerbs, and quite by chance near ladies of the night.

Good post only highlights that experience or lack of it doesnt make much difference, luck perhaps plays a big part as well. eg. fergie could come here and be a failure if things didnt click for him.

Perhaps the only common thread is, we need someone who is up and coming and has won automatic promotion this last season, which kind of limits the number of potential candidates somewhat. We probably need someone who sees Leicester as a stepping stone to greater things but with a bigger club, who has the integrity to stick around here for the next 3 years in order to build solid foundations.

Mandy also needs to stop talking about back to back promotions to the prem. It is highly unlikely to happen, and it means that any new manager is doomed to fail!

didnt we do this last season with Allen

Mad Mandy's criteria seems to be someone who can get two promotions in 2 seasons. Good luck finding someone to take the job on that basis.

Davies v Grayson? Hoof v Ground/passing Admit Davies probably offers greater security (as in sucess) but Larrys team would be better to watch

you should not really give a flying feck about how the team will play, You should be more bothered about the team winning.

I would rather watch a winning team anyday playing boring football, over a team that plays nice clean football but loses week in week out.

Agreed just need to get out of this division A.S.A.P and which style of football we play doesn't matter as long as we achieve promotion

Billy Davies ? Are things so bad that we now want to take on Derby rejects ? Well done agent Mandaric. Piss off with your money and lets get some Leicester people back on board. This club is a bastard disgrace and it is all Mad Mandys fault.:bang:

Davies played for us, six matches.

I really really hope all of that was a pisstake, I would hate to think I share a club with people of that mentality

I watched Blackpool a handful of times last season and they were without fail, a steaming pile of shite.

Like feck they are attractive to watch.

Are you Mrs Grayson or what?
