I took my stepdaughter and the 'behaviour' of some of our 'fans' at a Friendly put her off going again as well.Grade One Tossers the lot of em.

One thing that I haven't done is watch any football on TV. That in no way would be a replacement for the real thing and it bores me more than the real thing has ever done.

I didn't so much mean the match just the whole thing of going down the football,couldn't wait to get home.It was the same last year when I came down for the Leeds match

I was saying exactly the same thing to mg only yesterday. I go into the ground within 3 minutes off the KO,and I am out of the ground within 5 seconds of the final whistle.

I like going to watch the football, and fear that if I don't go I will miss something worthwhile. However, I now only partake in the absolute essentials, the whole "match day experience" has died for me.

Like you H, I just can't wait to get home.

As Boc said above, it's just becoming hard work and the rewards aren't worth it.

As for the Chelsea game, I feel like Elvis Costello.
 
Going to the footy destroyed his sex life

He couldn't pump it up any more and despite his claims that accidents will happen even a trip to a 'specialist' working in new amsterdam couldn't revive him

Now he just sits and home and listens to the radio, radio

Nevermind homer at least you can get Wispas now,Cadburys have started making them again you know on the back of record annual Chocolate Sales...Its been a good year for the roses apparently....
