From Sky:

Sky Sports understands that Leicester are lining up a move for Manchester United midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at the Foxes' Championship rivals Barnsley.
Having been unable to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's first-team plans at Old Trafford, Drinkwater has had to look elsewhere for regular games.

In recent seasons he has taken in loan spells at Huddersfield, Cardiff and Watford.
He has more than held his own in the second tier, with a number of assured displays drawing plenty of admiring glances.

Leicester are among those to have closely monitored his progress and they are set to launch a raid for his services.

United are understood to be willing to listen to offers, and the Foxes are prepared to put money on the table.

The Red Devils will cut short Drinkwater's time with the Tykes should headway be made in negotiations with Leicester.

Not quite good enough during his time with us. Injury prone too. Big meh from the Wales jury.

Would be a good signing, sounded like he was involved in everything when we played them last week. Wouldn't be at all surprised if this went through.

Another Free-kick specialist, good signing if we can manage it though.

Only worry is that he is just another (maybe slightly improved) Gallagher

Fee agreed and discussing terms today. General opinion seems to be he'll sign later today. A good signing IMO.

When was this? maybe he has progressed a bit more.
2010-2011 season. He is young, granted, and may have come on a bit, but he lacked any outstanding skill. Hard worker and tackler which is probably why he picked up knocks. Was a bit lightweight.

he looks like ian hume! just thought id share that
Good comparison. Probably do well in League 1.

Watched him way back at Wycombe when on loan at Huddersfield. Lovely engine, good for a pass but more of a grafter off memory as opposed to being skillful. More of a Wellens shall we say.

Kinda like Spearing?
