Saw a piece of his defending on some highlight program.

He couldn't make the 5 yards to the attacker, pointed to someone else further away than him to come over and tackle.
In meantime forward crosses ball, DM's in no mans land, ball ends in back of net.

I believe we can bring in a better quality player than DM, who looks like his best days are behind him.........Can't we relate to that!

Sounds like just the player we need, I've always thought our defence was way too solid anyway, get him in, Ollie will find a spot in midfield for him, then when he doesn't perform he'll be loaned out to Leeds ... mind you, my opinion shouldn't be valued, cos I'm not a real fan. I just come on these boards for the friendly chat and repartee. :icon_roll

McAuley v Moore in a 100m sprint . . . wouldn't like to call the winner myself. Nothing in it.

Darren Moore = McAuley with more experience and a big mouth.

He's achieved 4 promotions from the Championship in the last 9 seasons (Bradford 1, WBA 2, Draby 1). He may be 33 but would be more worthy of an 18 month deal than most have been given them over recent seasons. A influential character who knows what it takes to get promoted. Perfect squad man for this season and next I'd say.

oh gosh, im terribly sorry old bean. What i actually meant to say was if you have not participated in the joy that is cheering on your football club at all home matches you may possibly need your brain checking for mental illnesses
 
i think we need a big leader at the back and he fits that bill, even if it is just until the end of the season

He wasn't even good last season. Derby got promoted in spite of him, not because of him.
 
I thought he did well last season. According to a friend who is a WBA fan he said he thought Dazza Moore was fairly solid and pretty decent, he was gutted to see him gone. Think he could do a job for us.
