Will upset certain posters by saying this, but Bert on FT posted that he would be signing in the next 24/48 hours this morning. This is just been backed up by PG's father in law who has confirmed he's had his medical and signed this afternoon.

Has to be good news.

Great signing on a free. I'm sure it will mean SGE will still be in for a big money striker still as well (Maynard?)

I can only assume that is a twitter follow? What's his tag?

He actually posts on FT, he started posting when he told us PG was signing. His username is brfc24.

He is on twitter but all he does on there is abuse Ryan Giggs bit on the side.

Will be very pleased if/when this finally goes through. Would pay 3mill more for nugent than cms but luckily we've had to pay 3mill less!!

Still leaves us with a bit to play with for Maynard too!

If it does go through I think it will be an excellent sigining. As for Nugent being on a free and this leaving money for other transfers, I'd expect there to be a big signing on fee and big wages. Perhaps in the long term, a much more costly signing than CMS.

IF this is correct, it would be a great signing certainly better than CMS, but we will need back up in the goalscoring department. Maynard would fit in quite nicely as the second first choice striker, but we need someone coming off the bench to cover for either of them, if injuries come along. Slurps there but he's a bit young to throw in on a regular basis, so who else? Foxetalk gone down.

I can't believe I missed the story on the OS stating we've sold Vassell, shocking
