I asked a Pompey forum what they thought of him...

I'd expect not alot, that way you wont be dissappointed.

TBH the fans will warm to him,he's not a great striker and his inane grin when he misses can wind people up, but at least he plays with a smile on his face.

Generally he'll give 100% effort and is a better player when playing alongside a more prolific striker.
Still good luck, and his 14 goals helped us stay up last season.

He never played all season on the left wing.Mostly up front,he needs knock ons from other people to shine.One on one the keeper will win.He tries hard but lacks vision and first touch ,but ok in this league though.Pity i for one will miss him ,least he tried after an awful start under Redcrap.He'll do well for you lot.

They didn't mention anything about elbowing people, shouting at the ref or punching the ground, so I'd say he is.
