Taken from Foxestalk, not too sure how reliable the source .....

Believe me or not, but i cant tell you the source but were trying to do a deal for Patrick Agyemang, from what i have heard we have agreed a fee in the region of £650,000. Also expect a couple to leave ( weso and levi). Didnt get told where they were going, but just there is something in the pipe line.
Take it as you will, but he works within the club.

Would be a good signing, just would be surprised we bought him and didn't 'loan with a view to a permanent move' given the timescale involved before the end of the window.

Agyemang is a big striker that plays for Preston isn't he? Don't know anymore about him than that...

But no problem with Weso and Levi leaving and us getting a big man in :)

Moved to QPR from PNE but is a decent striker, powerful, pacy, skillful with a good eye for a goal. IMO he is a poor man's Riccardo Fuller, can lose his way but will be a very good addition to the squad and offer an extra dimension to our attacking options.

Yes. Scored 1 goal from 9 starts and 9 sub appearances.

Should fit right at home them.

Wouldn't be surprised is Blackpool try to tie up DJ now after his good start, rather than wait til the summer. We would probably use that money to fund it... that or milan will borrow more money against the club and put our debt up to £24m.

NP obviously isn't expecting to do alot given his response on RL on Saturday, which was along the lines of

IS - "Will you be busy with transfer over the weekend"

NP - "Shouldn't think so, don't plan to have my phone switched on"

... there again Lee Hoos would be doing any negotiations wouldn't he

:icon_lol: I wouldn't read to much into that... when I hear him talking to that interviewer he seems to try his best to be awkward. I don't think he likes him much.

He seems annoyed that Stringer asks so many stupid questions and never listens to the answers.

I wouldn't say it's that, its just the contrasting approaches they have.

Stringer is like an excited kid in a candy shop bursting to know the latest transfer gossip from the manager of his favorite football club.

Pearson is.... well, Nigel Pearson.

He never listens to him post match though:

Stringer : "So, Matty Fryatt got another goal, playing really well at the minute"

Pearson : "He did but he's just one of a team, they all played well"

Stringer : "Indeed, with his contract up for renewal, it must be good he's playing well?"

It's almost as though he has a list of questions and just asks them regardless of whether a previous anwser renders them pointless

Another example...

IS: Tunchev's injury looked serious
NP: It did but we won't know how bad it is until he's had a scan, so we're hopeful it's not as bad as it looks.
IS: How long will he be out?
NP: :icon_roll :bang:

Why would we want to pay QPR £650,000 for a player who cost them £350,000 less than 13 months ago? Nine goals in 18 appearances for them last season might sound impressive; one goal in 21 appearances this season certainly doesn't.

Sounds like a lot of money for somebody else's dead wood.

:018:No journalist would EVER do that, especially not a sports journalist.

I felt like that when Stringer interviewed me at Oldham.

(or was it me being stupid and not listening to the questions?)

Wiki says he signed for them for about a million?!?!
