Wiki says he signed for them for about a million?!?!

Wikipedia seems to be mostly shocking when it comes to footy stats. soccerbase (seems to be more reliable) has it at £350,000.

Surely we wouldn't buy a cropped player though? Like you said earlier, probably rubbish. Although were QPR in the top 6 when Newts said we're getting a striker from a top 6 Championship side? ...

We need a 'big man'. I think it would be scandalous for QPR to do this to him before selling him.

You may not use the words 'soccerbase' and 'reliable' in the same paragraph :018: not ever. In fact, 'soccerbase' may not be used in the same thought as words which might give the false impression that soccerbase is in any way correct.

Haha, Patrick Agyemang.

It's almost as though he has a list of questions and just asks them regardless of whether a previous anwser renders them pointless

Well that's exactly true and makes his questioning sound silly/ignorant.

I don't think NP should amass a disliking for him because of that.

Rather he should understand Stringer's occupation as a journalist who's been given a set of questions to ask.

we'll regret not getting anyone in if fryatt or howard pull up in one of these cold weather fixtures in the next week or so. not good business for us i don't think.
all the chaff has been loaned out - adams, wesolowski, odhiambo gone, campbell - but nothing has come in.
maybe a slightly arrogant approach from us to think we don't need any more cover....

we can still loan until march from next week, don't panic!

we'll see when howard and oakley get injured (just for instance) and we are all moaning at Dickov and Gradel for not playing to the same level. We've not got strength in depth anywhere but in defence.

should have got a striker/midfielder in.

we might get away with it, but it's still risky - trying to get up on the cheap.

The thing is we have loaned out more than we have brought in so presumably we have to some degree weakened the squad. Is that the wisest move seeing as its promotion or bust. I thought we'd see one more in either a striker or a midfielder.

We now knoe Dickov and Hayles are useless so an injury to either Fryatt or Howard and its going to be ugly.

Sparky you beat me to it!!!

a player bought in on loan as and when we get an injury will be much more of a panic signing than one we could have spent all january lining up. i don't think we should wait until we get an injury crisis before we act!

You are so negative, we have a good squad, we have adequate cover. Stop panicing.
