WTAF? You serious?? So, you're telling me that someone somewhere thought that it was acceptable to audition footballing styles in a crucial game for a manager who may or may not be joining the club (and hasn't as it turns out), instead of going hell for leather to get points in?

That's complete and utter made up bollocks
Yep.

That's complete bollocks and almost definitely not true.

Yep

That's scandalous.
No, it was something that someone who really should know better actually said had happened, it was just a bit of fun posting it on here

It really isn't that strange. Marsch was interviewed on the Thursday and clearly was frontrunner. Part of those conversations must have included how he'd use the current squad to get results.

In fact, if I was interviewing him I'd give him our available squad and ask him how he'd set up against Bournemouth to see how well prepared he was and how credible his approach was.

The only leap is that Whelan or Rudkin would then report this back to Sadler and Stowell and suggest that was how we were likely to play going forward. I doubt that would happen unless they had absolutely zero faith in their preparations.

What a time to be a mediocre manager. Paid probably 100k a week for a 0 pressure job. A total win-win for less than 2 months work.

Whereas I’m taking a side job marking thousands of SATs papers, just to pay for 1/5 of the month’s energy.

World’s mad.

Gone down very well in some (head)quarters !

New #LCFC boss Dean Smith abandoned a holiday to watch #TheMasters to attend an interview at #LCFC with no promises on the role. This commitment to help the football club is applaudable.

I'd Love It.
I Would Love It - If we start winning games and stay up - just to rub Brodgers face in it.

Apparently 10 of Villa starting 11 from last weekend were brought in under Dean Smith.
