Didn't this give you a clue?
A big come down after last weeks victory

That was the firs thing that made me think "what the **** is he on about?"

I don't often praise NP but there are signs of some improvement in his management this season. He has attempted to alter formations and tactics. I was very pleased to hear that he went 4-3-1-2 yesterday for instance. It's about fecking time, but the opposition cannot easily predict how we'll play now. So far, he's also far more honest and reasonable in his communications too.

We could just as easily be without a win as have 7 points from 3 games and I did feel that his substitutions yesterday were poor, so this is no time to absolve NP of all his sins. However, if he's genuinely adapted his style of management for the better, well done to him.

Looking at the opposition, our next 10 league games are all winnable. If we can find a left back, a goalscorer or two and a midfielder that can support the forwards from within the squad or the loan market, we may actually get ourselves a decent foundation this season.

Moore and Morgan look like a terrific pairing in defence. If we can keep them fit and on their games, that's a strong foundation.

One day BN you will have an attack of the positive, no doubt an ambulance will be required because it will be such a shock to your system; (and mine I might add).

I think BN's post is a good one. Yes he has concerns, but he's recognising positive signs rather than being blindly negative.

Agreed. Yes we have won 2 games but not played all that well. It's important to get off to a good start for building confidence, which we have done. Onwards and upwards.

Ture. I'm pleased at the start we've had but am trying to keep a calm head about form after 3 feckin games....unlike the Football League Show who are talking up the in form teams and relegation strugglers.

What are you on about? Millwall are down aren't they?

They were down after their second game I think. Forest are to be presented with the league trophy after their third, yes third, win of the campaign. We've got the agony of a 2 leg play off against Blackpool.

Overall this is a cracking start to the season, whichever way you look at it. Seven points in three games from a side still coming to terms with new tactics is impressive. For me, the rumour that Mr Boozelager was training elsewhere this summer was the most odd and I am delighted he is at the club still as it is he whom I would be fashioning the midfield around, he can be the difference in this division I believe.

Who is Mr Boozelager

I think BN's post is a good one.

Pontificating about the substitutions despite not having seen the match makes a good post?

Right.

I thought changing Woody and Knocky for two players who's names end in different letters was a masterclass by Pea Son the Tactician. Also, playing two keepers in attacking roles really unsettled Forest and this result surely wins us the European Cup championship.
