We always got much better West Midlands' news reception and our aerial pointed in the same direction as our neighbours in Hinckley.

That's because most people have their aerial pointed towards the Sutton Coldfield transmitter. When I said the "wrong direction", I meant the wrong direction to receive East Midlands news, it's the right direction if you're just interested in getting the strongest signal.

They're not forced to have West Midlands news!

Most people will have chosen receive the West Midlands version because the signal is stronger in Hinckley, and receiving the East Midlands signal may have required a new aerial, but that's a choice people have made, not something they've been forced to do. The signal from the East Midlands transmitter near Melton is more than capable of being received in Hinckley.

Fair enough.

Madness Rosso. I'll never, ever forget the 3-3 draw against Derby and Iwan Robert's hat trick. Or more importantly, the infamous Playoff final where the worst Leicester team, perhaps ever, assembled nicked a premier league place from the expensively assembled shaggers.

Also remember how the Derby fans spoilt our promotion celebration party the year we pipped Fulham to 3rd spot, by a pitch invasion at the baseball ground.

Fair play that is awesome commitment coming from America, fans who live in Leicester who don't go and call themselves "fans" have no excuse and ARE part timers.

Unfotunately, finances and work commitments mean that I am very rarely able to attend. I would love to be able to afford a season ticket, or even the odd weekend game, and then on top of that, have the time to be able to attend. But unfortunately, I have to settle for the odd three-or-four games in a season. I like to think that this doesn't make me any less of a fan, and especially not a "part-time" fan. (I'm not comparing myself to anyone else, especially not BM. He is a crazy man.:icon_wink)

I do my best to support Leicester, and although it might not be as good as some other people, it's my best and that's as much as I can offer.

If Hboro ever gets a job and bills to pay, he'll change his tune.

I think H typed before his brain was in gear, but he did retract the statement (kind of)

I hate the derby the most because there the team we played the most when i was younger. i wasn't aware that coventry were hated that much until i started posting on here

It might be wrong, but i don't feel a particlar hatred towards any local rival :icon_conf

I think it's mostly down to the fact that we haven't played many of them over recent years.

When I was younger and my dad was going to the City, before he took me, it always seemed we were playing Oxford for some reason.

Putting the pieces of my trip together now. Will also be going to the Palace game.

Sitting in Pen 2 of the Kop for both probably.

Can't F***king wait.

I am full of admiration for anyone who travels all that way.

Of course unlike American soccer we do not have cheerleaders thank goodness. Rumour is that they did try cheerleaders but it went wrong: Wayne Brown kicked one of them, another beat Robbie Neilson for pace and a third bullied Andy King off the ball.

I hope you enjoy the matches.

Coventry had cheerleaders. They were so out of time with each other it was embarrassing.

The Sky Blue Crew

Some alright lookers though I suppose.

:102:

Which ones?

My thoughts exactly...

That looks like a zoo exhibit compared to what I've grown used to!

Obviously I'm not coming home for the simple purpose of watching City. But I did coordinate the trip so I could get two home games (and decent ones at that).

Will be bringing along my missus...should make for an interesting social experiment (she's from Pennsylvania)
