In my opinion he's up there with Ade in the money wasting stakes.
Looked lazy last season, has no ability as far as i can tell, says it all when a 35 year old is brought in to replace you.

Having read a few interviews with him and watched him play recently,admittedly only a little,I believe Dudley dissapeared up his own arse a good while back

I would say that DJ was a more foolish buy than Ade. The reason being, that I can understand the thinking with Ade - we were trying to replace Heskey, a bustling forward, not too many goals but made openings. OK, it didn't work out but DJ has no record of consistent goal scoring and no other appreciable footballing talents: I never did follow the logic of such an inflated asking price.

As much as i was underwhelmed with Pearson's appointment, he's growing on me. I'm liking the change to the scattergun approach of the last few seasons, does seem as if he's building a team.
I also agree with this, if he wins us a few games nicking late goals this will be a very good signing.
Hopefully he'll work well with Howard when he does play, 'little and large' and all that.

He may have left us 6 years ago, but he signed for us in 2000
