15 years ago this week we were underwhelmed by a loan signing from West London. Muzzy Who?

Bound to be history repeating itself .... probably.
 
What about the 'Yak' being dropped, seems he's gone into his 'not really interested' mode, the problem he had at Everton, hence the lack of his first team chances when there. No doubt Vas has gone off the boil, so it will be interestinmg to see Svens next line up, and how the subs are used.

I think it was to be expected that lack of a pre-season training regime would eventually catch up with Vassell - and now he's basically faded away. Dyer is worth more opportunities but I guess Sven's going to pick Kamara. In his Portsmouth post match interview I assume he was trying to protect the players - I hope so because I wouldn't want to think that he is deluded and thinks that performance really was acceptable and his attempt to justify his dropping of Vitor for that game was unconvincing.

Personally I think he'll just replace Gally or Vassell on one of the wings.

I'm pleased with this personally. Last time he was in this division, admittedly a few years ago, he destroyed it and was player of the season.

I think I'd have a go at it were I Sven (I'm not, I'm a no-name jobsworth, and for good reason).

Maybe a bit of extra help up front would kickstart Yak and allow him to play as a striker without people moaning like lickle girls about it.

With Mee playing left back instead of van aanholt we probably have a bit more stability defensively and playing 3 in the middle might not be as important to the shape.
