Mardy git. I have to say I have found his attitude to be very unprofessional so another Club can have him as far as I am concerned.

DJ would consider Blackpool move
23 April 2009
By Steve Canavan & William Watt
DJ Campbell has given Seasiders fans hope by claiming Saturday's clash with Nottingham Forest might not be his final game at Bloomfield Road.
Campbell has always been cagey when asked about his future.

But today the striker has, for the first time, given Blackpool the go ahead to try to sign him, saying he is prepared to enter into talks about a deal.

Campbell has smashed eight goals in 18 games since joining on loan from Leicester in January.

He is under contract at the Walkers Stadium for a further year but, despite the Foxes' elevation to the Championship, insists he has no desire to return.

That means he is set to depart in the summer – the only question is where he will end up.

And the good news for Tony Parkes and those on the terraces is that it could be with the Seasiders.

"Nothing has been talked about yet regards the future," said the 27-year-old.

"I want to get these final two games out of the way, get the season finished and then sit down and see what happens.

"So it may or may not be my last game at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

"If it is obviously I would love to go out with a bang and it would be nice to get a goal.

"It has been good at Blackpool and I have enjoyed my time here.

"The lads have been superb, the management have been great and the fans have been terrific as well.

"It is a lovely little club and obviously if we sit down in the summer ... well, we'll see what happens.

"I don't want to go back to Leicester though – anything apart from that."

What a nob. We don't want him back anyway - anything apart from that!

Send him to Hinckley, he could probably do a job.

Playing into his hands.

Why? What does he expect when he comes out and says something like that? We all assumed he'd be off in the summer but saying that he's rather do 'anything but' return to city is disrespectful to a club that shelled out a lot of cash for him and paid him handsomely. He was a failure at the club and should move on, but he doesn't need to come out making stupid remarks like that.

He can't **** off fast enough for me.

**** him, he's shit and he's found a nice little club to match his little talent.

The reason he would go any where but here is because he knows he has **** all chance of getting a sniff.

Because he can point to such statements and say what a horrible lot we are; it doesn't matter what the truth of it is. And as in the earlier and well-publicised case, mud sticks.

Also hasn't Hobbs said pretty much the same thing about coming here? I understand some are upset at the last line, but why let it bother you? He's not someone most wanteed to keep, so just ignore him.

his loss. To be fair our fans have given him a lot of stick but what does he expect when hes playing shit all the time? If he can't handle it then he shouldn't be in the game...

Bit surprised he said that last line, very unproffesional and verging on mis-conduct!

To think in those terms would be financial lunacy. What could we do? Dismiss him? Tear up his contract? In either case, the PFA would make sure that we paid him every penny that is due under it. Far better to keep stum and get what we can in a transfer deal - and even that would probably require us to compensate him for any loss of earnings during the remainder of the contract.

Far better (for the future) to find out what has so upset him and to get that sorted out.

I know what you're saying, but if he came out saying "I said I never wanted to go back to their club and now they're saying mean things about me" - well... what does he really expect? A pat on the back?

He obviously doesn't want to be here and we don't particularly want him here either, but you haven't heard Milan or Pearson come out and say "we don't want him back - anything but that"

I just feel it's unprofessional and uncalled for.

What if it's purely down to him being a egotistical twat though Boc, you seem to be ruling that out completely, I don't think he has the belly to fight for his place and he's easily upset, that is his problem not ours.

The only investigating we need to do in the future is to make sure we don't buy such easily upset fightless wage drainers.
