I would say that perhaps Fryatt et al has shown more desire to play for the club and for NP this season than Campbell, hence Dj's lack of opportunities.
Talent wise Campbell is easily good enough for the championship but like so many of our players over the last few years he also demonstrated a lack of hunger, desire and commitment to the cause.
It would seem that NP has come in, given everyone left at the club a clean slate and asked them to prove they want to play for him and the club. He has obviously seen something in Dudley's make up that he doesn't rate.

I thought he was kept out of the squad for most of the season due to injuries, and when he got fit he was on the bench...until he got injured again.
