I Think we could use another striker, but i would prefer a loan deal for someone with experience.

However, since we know that CL would prefer Dublin as a striker, i would expect him to get a defender in january to enable Dublin to play up front more.

Thats not what i want, but what i think CL will do.

if dublin plays up front regularly i will be taking my comfort blanket to the walkers in future for a sleep, HOOF!

yes defo.

we need a good striker, i say spend up to 1 million on a good striker, we are in a good position if we mantain in the top half. we need goals, de vries is the only one scoring.

bring in a wba striker!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think we need another striker, we just need our other strikers to strike...

Anyway there is no way we could afford a decent striker....just strange to me that CL wasted money on Hammond.

would forest get anything for williams? they refused our settlement and it went through the courts, i know nothing about legal stuff so not sure if they are entitled to anything if we are to sell our model professional

The deal with Williams was:
£500,000 up front
+£100,000 if promoted
+15% sell on clause

Why a West Brom Striker? They aren't exactly setting their league on fire. Plus:
  • unless you have about 2 million change you won't get Earnshaw (who cost them about 3 million)
  • Unless you have roughly 4 million change you wont get Ellington
  • They are not going to let their top goalscorer go...i.e. Horsefield (who is currently also one of the premiership top scorers)
  • If that useless slow and disloyal lump of an ex Arsenal player came to us I would top myself! I refer to Kanu!!! :018: De Vries is better!
  • Cambell is also slow and no better than Dublin. What would the point be?
So please...tell me why should we have any of these players who are either shite, or we can't afford?

Kevin Campbell would have been a Micky style target .....played for us on loan from Arsenal of course about 20 years ago.

We sold our only half decent striker for a pot of gold and our play off hopes went with him....we might as well hold on for a bit now and try to develop academy youngsters or try to find a young striker with potential from elsewhere.

Hume looks like a genuine footballer but I doubt if he will score that many goals at higher levels....Hammond was a ridiculous signing IMO but CL is entitled to make a few errors, he is already doing a better job than his immediate predecessors.
