Does Leicester City have the new Bruce Lee?

DG will find himself on FT next and we'll be the losers you know!

I can't imagine that going well. He'd go down about as well as Paul Hymans at the League of Nations trying to settle the Vilnius question

Did I ever call you senile? Or am I due an apology too?

Yes. You compared me to a senile character on TV. When I pointed out that your post was offensive you said that one day you hoped to join me for a coffee at Kings Lock. This was an achievement. It was the only time I have told a Talking Balls web page what it could do with itself.
The answer to the second question is No,

That's right. The inner circle hounding out another one. DG will find himself on FT next and we'll be the losers you know!

I have been a member of Foxes Talk for a number of years although I rarely post there. This is my fault and not theirs. Like the majority of posters there and here I joined under a pseudonym. However, I came to be uncomfortable with that.I post here because I prefer to use my real name.

You sound as though you had a bad experience there. My few posts there went down fine. I have no quarrel with them Bentleys Roof or for that matter Talking Balls.
My references were to Bruce Lee and Alice In Wonderland. These do not seem to be very difficult.

Would you please explain the Vilnius question.

I had no bad experience, but they do seem a little... erm... uncultured, on the whole.

**** me, that does seem haughty. That's probably because it is though.

It was a conflict in the twenties between Poland and Lithuania, that left Vilnius in dispute between the two, Paul Hymans offered a compromise that was rejected by the LoN.

That nice Mr Gooogle has informed me that I'm incorrect, Paul Hymans' compromise wasn't rejected by the LoN, it was actually adopted by them. The people shooting at each other rejected it, the Poles and the Lithuanians.

In that case, I'm going to compare you with an elephant but would be pleased if you would note that this is only in relation to its alleged 'never forgets' quality. I regard you neither as grey nor as heavy and unwieldy. It's odd though that I should have said that I would join you for a coffee; I do not drink coffee.

I have got to admit that even though you have tried to remind me, I remember nothing of this interchange.

The answer to the second question is No,

Clearly not.

Of course this does not mean that I still carry any ill-feeling. I regard you and all TBers with unconditional regard.

It is remarkable that a post that begins as a bit of fun can turn in unexpected directions.

Did any of the older TBers notice a resemblance between Matt Mills competence on Wednesday and Bernard Bresslaw in The Army Game?

I once saw Bernard Bresslaw play in a celebrity American Football game. He spent most of his time pulling other people's trousers down.
