Of course, it may work out that through geeing things up he will get results from players no one else seems to want. But all the signs are that given choices -that players with choices - are generally going else where.

personally i think that has a lot to do with the way our team has spiralled downwards over the last 7 years. southampton etc are all clubs who have done well but needed a little more, we need a whole new team before we can even imagine finishing within reach of the top half

we need to get some serious different class of talent that can really make an affect instantly otherwise we have problems, best is gone, commons staying, hughes has gone, FFS, Allen better sort this out and bring in some serious known players with experience and talent to cope in this league before the season starts otherwise come christmas martin allen will be out of the club faster then cort makes it to the injury table

I'd be surprised if any other club have signed 7 players before the end of June.

We all know we need another 6-7. I'm sure at least a couple of these will be in over the next week or so. I'd also expect us to get a couple of Prem loanees in and they don't tend to start arriving until late July.

Just keep saying SF and I'm sure you will feel better.No need to panic I agree but there is a cause for concern,I had hoped we would have all our Signings in by the first day of pre-Season training so they all get the Full Pre-Season to work together.The other concern I have is that a good few of the available players are being snapped up,whilst we seem to be waiting on players to see if they want to join us or somebody else

I won't post anymore on this because I'm fully aware that unless you sit here with your Rose Tinted MM is God Specs on that you are considered negative and not a true fan on this forum nowadays

i think its a more realistic view that as for the past few years we've been utter pants and wont attract any decent players until we start making progress. players trying would be a start, and perhaps from that we might attract better players. cant imagine that players such as saganowski would see leicester (who were shite last season) as a better option than southampton (who could have got promotion)

I just think that evertone is over reacting. Sure the signings have not inspired yet but I do have to say a lot has been promised and this process will probably take a bit if time. I think criticism is fine, and it doesn't make you less of a fan...but lets only dish it out when it is due.

IF Milan had managed to bad Saganowski we would be singing high praise indeed...saints had first option, they took it and they sealed the deal...nothing we can do at the end of the day they were always favourates really.

I am sure that Saga was not the only player targeted and much has been made of the fact that there are many many targets, many promises made, and many more signings to come.

We aren't glamourous. Just be patient.

I'd agree with that,maybe we aren't as an attractive propositon has MM thinks we are and is finding it difficult to attract the type of quality he would like.Before I'm shouted dowmn for being negative,I think the signings of Kishishev and Chambers were good and are of the quality we need.I do know opinions are only welcomed on here nowadays if you are pissing your pants with excitement over Every signing.
